How quickly can you deliver?

Some items are available from stock and can be delivered within 7 days. In other circumstances, our ability to deliver to you is dependent upon a manufacturer's ability to deliver to us, generally this is between two to six weeks. If you require a more definite delivery time before you place your order, please phone. Otherwise we will contact you when your item comes into stock with us and then arrange a mutually convenient delivery date.

What are your delivery charges?   Top

Our delivery charges vary depending on your postcode location in the UK from FREE to £85. Sometimes we run FREE DELIVERY promotions on selected items, these are clearly identified on the product page. For more details see ‘Shipping and Returns Information’ page.

Are my payment card details safe?   Top

Lewis Furniture does not hold your card details ever. We use Paypal for our online payment processing and they take security very seriously. They are PCI compliant and use powerful fraud protection. Card details are scrambled (128-bit encryption) and sent using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

How do I find what I want?   Top

You can search the website from the Home Page by Product Category, Brand or, if you know exactly what you want, by using the search bar.

How good a likeness are the colour samples/wood grains shown?   Top

While we have taken every step to supply accurate representations of colours, wood grains, materials etc please note that these are likely to vary according to your browser, monitor and graphics card settings and capabilities.

What if I want a product not shown on your site?   Top

If you have seen a product which is produced by one of our Brands but which is not shown on the site, please contact us and we can order it for you.

Do you have a catalogue or swatches you can send me?   Top

Most of our Brands do not offer printed brochures as products are constantly changing and evolving. The most up-to-date information is contained here in our online catalogue. However, if you have any queries regarding products or swatch information please contact us.

Do you show the full range of colour and fabric options available for all products?   Top

Some manufacturers have a large range of fabric/colour options and we can only show a selection. If you would like further information on a particular item a member of our sales team can inform you of the alternatives and, if necessary, send a swatch sample before you make a final decision.

What is your warranty policy?   Top

All of our products come with a full manufacturer's warranty; these vary in length but are for a minimum of twelve months. Further details on manufacturer's warranties will generally be attached to your new furniture when it is delivered. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Why should I choose to buy from Lewis Furniture?   Top

We have been trading from an established High Street premises since 1896. We believe the same principles that have made our retail premises such a success also apply to the success of our online trading. Our history of trading as a furniture store enables us to supply quality furniture products at inexpensive prices backed up by efficient and fast delivery. What if I'm unable to take delivery of my order when it's ready?   Top

We always arrange delivery for an agreed date; however, in the event that you are unable to take delivery, we are willing to store it free of charge for a further 21 days. For commercial reasons, we are unable to extend this period and will have to charge you a storage fee of £10 per week thereafter.

What if my delivery contains damaged goods?   Top

Happily, this is a rare occurrence but it does happen that furniture sustains some minor damage during transit or contains a manufacturer's defect. If this is the case, please do call us immediately.
