All metal Bedsteads from The Original Bedstead Company are available with a variety of colour co-ordinated base configurations, all of which are included within the price of the bed. The most popular option for most customers is the ever-faithful Sprung Beech Slatted Base which features finest quality German beech slats with two inch gaps incorporated within a super sturdy metal frame, making it suitable for any mattress specification including pocket sprung versions and is supplied as standard.

Other frame options (no extra charge):

Universal Frame: A sprung beech base but without a foot end.

Support Frame: A bedstead that will accept an upholstered bed base/mattress combination, sometimes known as a vono frame.

Surround Frame: A frame that surrounds an existing divan base with sufficient clearance for drawers that gives the "look" of a bedstead.

And Finally

Headboard Only: Many of The Original Bedstead Company frames are available as headboards with extra rigid fixing assemblies to attach to the head end of any divan.
